I want you to know that...

this is why many posts just disappear:

I do not delete anything, so blame it on Blogger and IFPI.
For each deleted post I recieve a notifications like this. There were many of them through the past months.
Always when you see "Repost", I may be risking my neck doing that.
It's not only HMD but many bloggers are suffering under Blogger censorship.
Tough times in the blogosphere...

yes, thank you for the hard work. it must get disheartening to see a post you worked on only for it to get deleted. for all it's worth, i do love your blog (the recent posts on lifelike are great!) and thanks again for all your effort!

All good things come to end I suppose. Thanks.

It's happening all over the place, just proves that you've been posting some good shit. One suggestion is to screw up the search engines by mispelling posts or using characters instead of certain letters.[e.g he@t my deck]However if you've been tagged they'll probably keep tabs on you directly as opposed to via google etc.
Anyway keep up the great work & best of luck,Don't let the bastards grind you down!

The same is happening to me, so I'm thinking of changing to Wordpress. Or maybe to other place, but believe me Blogger is no longer an option.

By the way thanks for all your amazing posts. You did a great job =)

I have a blog on wordpress and it's the exact same thing. the DMCA keeps shutting everything down but thing is, they can't stop everyone. blogosphere unite!

The DMCA just don't realize that stopping these blogs won't do anything in controlling downloads.

A lot of the stuff that blogs (including HMD) release tend to be outdated, out of print or strictly promtional. It's bloody impossible to find this sort of stuff anywhere, including the "massive" MP3 stores on the net!

Not only that, but even things on vinyl are a nuisance. It's not convenient to carry around (I'm still waiting for the iTurnTable from Apple) and not easy to get onto computer!

I mean, can a record company still claim copyright protection on a piece of work of an artist that is more 30 years old and out of print? They aren't losing anything if it's not even being produced anymore!

Not only that, but may I remind you people of the world, WE are the one's who have decision in what WE do, and THE INDUSTRY can't do anything about it. WE are the consumers, WE decide what we want and how we want it, THE INDUSTRY can't force us to do anything. WE have the final say. THE INDUSTRY depends on US to survive.

hey HMD, what's the password for the "Confessions on A Dance Floor" that was recently deleted?

it was deleted, so i thought that this post was more apropriate.
